Hi Everyone

The center has puppies!!!! 5 week old Golden Retriever/Black Lab mixes, 4 little boys and the sweetest 6 year red Golden Retriever Mom. The center is currently taking applications for puppy homes. Two homes have been approved and will be coming out next weekend to meet and tag their puppies. Once the little guys are 8 weeks old they will be leaving. Mom is looking for a home too and will be ready to go after she is spayed. Yesterday Dipsy the black lab mix went back to her family. After a rough patch in her owner’s health he was forced to relinquish his 9 year old dog. Now that he is back on his feet Dipsy found her way home. Needless to say everyone was very excited. The canine group has grown by two more, Keeka a 4 year old Collie mix and Jill a 6 month old black lab mix. Both girls were found stray and are nice dogs looking for new homes. Clint the adorable black kitten went to his new home last week! He will now enjoy life with two cat siblings and a loving mom. After raising two adorable kittens and staying at the center for 16 months Morgan found her forever home last week! She will be spoiled as an only cat enjoying all the perks of having a loving home to herself! Finnegan a DSH orange cat was found in Ellsworth after being attacked by an owl or hawk. He has been recovering at the center. With no luck finding his owners Finn will be up for adoption. He is about 2 years old, and once he finishes healing will be neutered and given shots. Finn has used up many of his lives on the near death experience with the bird of prey but is now ready for a loving home to live out his years The center is running full with just one dog opening and a waiting list for cats. Remember all the wonderful animals at the center when you or someone you know is looking to expand their family.

Meet Sylvia, you can't even tell she is missing a leg. Had Sylvia's owners taken her to the vet after she was hit by a car or brought her inside, she would not have required severe flea treatment and future amputation of her back leg. This sweet 1 year old, up to date on shots, spayed and FEL and FIV tested negative cat came in with extensive damage to her back leg. After receiving a sponsor she underwent amputation and is doing great with just three legs. Sylvia runs, plays and loves a good scratch or two from you. She is ready for a loving indoor home.

Morgan; a stunning 2 year old spayed, up to date on shots and FIV and FEL tested sweetheart.
